Guided Canoeing and Black Bear Watching with Daryl Keeble

Beaver swimming Beaver Hut River Paddle

This trip can take four to five hours. Five hours is recommended since there is much to see, including a rarely visited swamp area. Evenings work best for observing beavers as they sleep most of the day.
Beaver Hut Paddle This gentle river also has fresh water seals and great plant variety. Even those who don't care much for plants seem to have their interest peaked by the unique plant and animal life. We often hear bears, but see them less frequently than on our other trips.
Into the River
Daryl says, "An interesting feature of the Beaver Hut River Paddle is that it is not affected by windstorms, so it can be paddled in most weather conditions. So when it is blowing, you know where to find me! Down at the beaver hut." Evening beaver
