Owner/operator Daryl Keeble has been a guide for 16 years, and is one of the most requested and knowledgeable guides in the area. He is an expert outdoorsman, with over a decade of trapline experience in Clayoquot Sound.
Orphan Black Bear Daryl's keen interest and the utmost respect he has for the land and its animals can only benefit your adventure. He is able to identify most native plants, animals, birds, fish, and tracks. As your adventure guide, he will share his knowledge and love of the outdoors, guaranteeing that you will leave with a rare insight into the fine balance of man's relationship with nature. Daryl has a keen interest in preserving what he loves for future generations.
Daryl Keeble Daryl Keeble's qualifications include: Wilderness First Aid, BC Recreational Canoeing Association Certified Canoe Instructor, Canadian Swift Water Rescue Technician Level 3, Transportation Endorsement, Marine Fishing Guide, Certified Small Engine Marine Technician and a Diploma in the Coastal Adventure Tourism Guide Program.
Sockeye Salmon Daryl is native to Vancouver Island and resides in Ucluelet year round. In the off season he works for various agencies including the Salmon Enhancement Program where he snorkels remote rivers, doing fishing and habitat assessments throughout the Clayoquot Sound area.
Daryl also spearheaded a large environmental project that obtained significant funding for the upgrading of the Kennedy Lake Watershed. The project received international attention.
